Convert Your Microsoft Word Document to PDF
Converting your thesis to PDFAcme Bookbinding requires that files submitted for thesis printing are in the PDF file format. Unlike the Microsoft Word format and most other file formats, a PDF (Portable Document Format) preserves the layout, fonts and images when transferred from one computer to another. Sending a PDF file will help prevent changes in your document and minimize technical issues when we print your thesis. To create a PDF file from Microsoft Word, you must have a third-party software installed on your computer. Word does not come with a way to create PDF files. Acme recommends that you use Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional (Acrobat Reader will not work). Alternatively, you can go to Adobes web site and create a PDF online. If you have Adobe Acrobat installed your computer, please view Adobes instructions on how to create a PDF from Microsoft Word. Please ensure that in your job conversion settings it is set up to embed all fonts. You may use the High Quality Print setting that comes as one of the default settings in Acrobat to ensure that fonts are embedded and that it does not reduce the resolution of your images below print quality. |
