Music Binding Options

Standard Periodical (02)

Use for binding multiple single scores into a single volume. Base price if adhesive bound, but if sewn through the folds there are additional costs. Group F buckram hard cover.

Adhesive Bind (05)

For a single book or score to be notched double-fan adhesive bound. Group F buckram hard cover.

Sewing Option (08)

Use to bind books or scores that have a sewn text block. Group F buckram hard cover. Base price plus extra to retain original sewing, or center sew in a single signature score

Pocket Book (16)

Used to house score and multiple parts. Buckram cover with score mounted to inside front board and pocket (to hold parts) mounted to inside rear board, a hard inlay creates the proper bulk. Parts usually are soft bound and cloth covered.

Phase box (17)

Used to hold collection of loose materials. Custom enclosure made with 60 pt. acid free board.

Deluxe phase box (18)

Used to hold collection of loose materials. Group F buckram covered hard cover wrapping a custom enclosure made with 60 pt. acid free with the board.

Gray Board (26)

Used to hold a single score. Acid-free pamphlet binder ---side stapled or center sewn by hand to enable signature to lay flat.

Clear front (27)

Same as Gray Board but with clear front cover.

Music parts,cloth (MP)

Soft cover for a single-signature part or score. The item is center sewn into a reinforced acid-free end paper or adhesive bound, then glued solid into a piece of Group F buckram or C-cloth.

Music parts, paper (MPA)

Soft cover for a single signature part or score. The item is center sewn or adhesive bound into a reinforced acid-free end paper.

Pocket, cloth (PC)

Used to hold loose parts along with a bound volume. Buckram or C-cloth pocket smaller than the textblock. Use with either 05 or 08.

Pocket, oversize (PO)

Cloth pocket that will hold material thicker than 3/8 inch.

Pocket, paper (PP)

Acid free paper pocket, use with 05 or 08.

Pocket, music (PM)

Used to hold loose parts along with a bound volume. Buckram or C-cloth pocket for material as large or larger than bound text. Oversize pocket and extended cover to fit pocket.
