New textbooks can cost from $20 to $25 and up--five to six times the cost of a rebound textbook. Textbooks rebound by Acme Bookbinding are based on the specifications of the ANSI / NISO / LBI Standard for Library Binding, Z39.78-2000--far surpassing NASTA (publisher's textbook) specifications. Rebound textbooks should last two to four times as long as new textbooks--further increasing your savings.

Please call soon (preferably in May but not later than mid-June) to schedule your pick-up--to ensure that your rebound textbooks will be returned prior to school opening. Acme's trucks make scheduled trips to all parts of New England and we want to be sure to include your school when we are in your area. Call today to let us know when school closes and when you expect to have textbooks and library books ready for pick-up. Acme's customer service staff will do the rest.

All books must be packed in sturdy boxes, labeled, and ready for our driver. Acme will supply empty boxes and gummed shipping labels, if necessary. You may request packing supplies from our office. Please allow at least one week for UPS delivery.

TEXTBOOK PRICES

Price will be based upon invoice quantity. To reduce cost, you may combine your schools into a single pickup and single invoice.

PLEASE NOTE: Purchase Orders are required. A single Purchase Order can be used for both Textbooks and Library Books. Be sure to indicate both the billing address and the shipping address. We will not start work without a Purchase Order.

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS - EXTRA CHARGES

To avoid an extra charge of per volume for packing, please make sure that all books are properly packed in sturdy boxes, labeled, and ready for Acme's driver. Acme will supply empty boxes and gummed shipping labels. You may request shipping cartons and labels from our office when you schedule your pick-up. Label each box in the center of the end panel with: school, city, state, and either "Textbooks" or "Library Books".

* Acme will pay transportation one way on all orders over $250.00 and both ways on all orders over $2500.00.

* The bindery will not be responsible for missing books unless a list of titles and a total count of books sent accompanies the shipment.
